Itty Bitty Adventures is fully certified by the NYC DOHMH. We offer a 12-month preschool program for children between the ages of 2 and 5-years old, as well as childcare, an after school program, and tutoring. We follow the New York City Department of Education school calendar.
Our school program is divided as follows:
All of our adventurers may be enrolled for three or five days per week, for a full or half day. Early drop-off is available from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m., and late pick-up is available from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Our full day program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The academic portion of our day takes place from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The children enjoy the benefits of our educationally enriched curriculum, as well as snack time, exercise and creative endeavors. Lunch is served at 12:00, followed by nap time from 12:30 - 2:30 (full day students are required by law to nap on the premises). Our afternoon program includes snack time, guided play, and indoor/outdoor exercise.
As part of the full day program, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack will be provided by the school.
Starting September 2015, Itty Bitty Adventures is proud to offer Universal PreK.

Pattie Merhej: Owner and Manager
Patricia Merhej is a mother of two. She has been living with her family in Marine Park since 2000. She was born and bred in Brooklyn and that’s where she chose to establish her family. She got married to computer engineer, John Merhej in 1991, and together they had 2 sons: Michael and Robert.
Pattie studied at Kingsborough Community College, where she majored in Community Health and Biology. She studied Emergency Care to become an Emergency Medical Technician, and worked as an EMT at Beth Israel Medical Center for four years.
Both Michael and Robert attended P.S. 206. Pattie, joined the Parent Teacher Association at her kids’ school and became a member for 5 years, and president for 2. She helped arrange school activities, holiday parties, school productions, fundraisers, scholastic book fairs, parent and child music programs, and much more.
In 2010 she decided that it was not time to retire from caring for kids. Quite the opposite, she wanted to apply her skills and knowledge, coupled with her passion for caring for children, into founding Itty Bitty Adventures.
